Restore your purchase

Paid for premium but the app still shows the free version? Or got a new phone? Here's how to get it back.

The quick fix

  1. Open the app and go to its Settings (or the paywall screen).
  2. Tap Restore Purchases.
  3. Wait a few seconds. Premium unlocks if your account has an active purchase.
Use the same account you bought with. Purchases belong to an Apple ID or Google account, not to the phone. If you're signed in with a different account, restore won't find anything.

Check that the subscription is active

  • iPhone or iPad: Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. The app should be listed under Active.
  • Android: Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions and Subscriptions.

If it isn't listed, the purchase may have been made with another account, or it may have expired.

Moved to a new phone

  1. Sign in to the new phone with the same Apple ID or Google account.
  2. Install the app from the App Store or Google Play.
  3. Open the app and tap Restore Purchases.

Your purchase moves with your account, so there's no need to pay again. Moving between iPhone and Android isn't possible, because Apple and Google keep purchases separate.

Still not unlocked?

  • Make sure you have an internet connection, then try Restore again.
  • Close the app fully and reopen it.
  • Update the app to the latest version.

If none of that works, contact support and include your receipt. Apple sends a "Your receipt from Apple" email with an Order ID, and you can also find it at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Google Play the order number starts with GPA.
