Request a refund

Charged for something you didn't want? Here's how to ask Apple or Google Play for your money back.

Who handles refunds

Purchases in our apps are made through the App Store or Google Play, so refund requests go to Apple or Google. They make the decision, usually within a few days, and send the money back to your original payment method.

Want to stop future charges too? A refund doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel it here so you aren't charged again.

Refunds on iPhone or iPad (Apple)

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com on any phone or computer.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Under I'd like to, choose Request a refund.
  4. Pick the reason that fits best, then tap Next.
  5. Select the purchase and tap Submit.

Apple emails you with the result. You can check the status on the same website.

Refunds on Android (Google Play)

Within 48 hours of buying

  1. Open your Google Play order history.
  2. Find the purchase.
  3. Choose Request a refund or Report a problem and follow the steps.

After 48 hours

Google asks you to contact the developer. Send us a message with your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA) and we'll look at your request.

Tips for a smooth request

  • Ask soon after the charge. Requests made right away are reviewed most easily.
  • Explain briefly what happened, for example that you forgot to cancel a trial.
  • If Apple declines your request, you can contact Apple Support to ask again.
