Cancel a subscription

Stop a subscription or free trial in a few taps. It works the same for every Appcellent app.

Before you start

When you subscribe in one of our apps, the payment is handled by Apple or Google, not by us. That means the subscription lives in your Apple ID or Google account, and that's where you cancel it.

Deleting the app doesn't cancel your subscription. You'll keep being charged until you cancel it in your account settings.

How to cancel

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap the app you want to cancel.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial) and confirm.

You can also get there from the App Store: tap your profile picture, then Subscriptions.

Cancelling a free trial

To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The trial end date is shown on the same Subscriptions screen.

On iPhone, Apple may end your access as soon as you cancel a free trial. On Android, you won't be charged as long as you cancel before the trial ends.

What happens after you cancel

  • Paid subscriptions stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • After that, the app goes back to its free features. Nothing on your phone is deleted.
  • You can subscribe again at any time from inside the app.

Don't see the subscription?

  • Check that you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to subscribe.
  • If it's under Expired or Inactive, it's already cancelled and you won't be charged again.
  • Subscribed through a family member? The person who paid has to cancel it on their device.

Why we can't cancel it for you

Apple and Google process the payment, so we never see your card details and can't change subscriptions in your account. Only you, or Apple and Google, can do that. If you were charged after cancelling, see Request a refund.
